From a young age, Izzy has had a passion for sports. She competed in soccer, basketball, softball, and volleyball, with volleyball becoming a constant through middle school, high school, and into college. The sport shaped more than her athletic ability. It built discipline, resilience, teamwork, and leadership - qualities that continue to influence both her academic and professional life.

Now a senior in nursing school, Izzy understands firsthand the importance of maintaining physical and mental wellness while navigating the demands of a rigorous healthcare program. Nearly a year ago, she discovered CrossFit and quickly found a new passion. What began as a way to build strength and challenge herself became an empowering outlet from the stress of school. She was drawn to the intensity, the accountability, and the powerful community that makes CrossFit more than just a workout.

In January 2026, Izzy earned her Online CF-L1 certification and is excited to continue growing as both a coach and an athlete. As she prepares to graduate and step into the nursing profession, she is passionate about helping others prioritize their health, push past their limits, and realize they are capable of more than they think. We’re excited to have Izzy coaching at CrossFit Woolly Mammoth and can’t wait for you to learn from her energy and experience.
